Life as a full time working single mum can be super hectic and if your lifestyle is anything like mine, then you will understand how important it is to have a quick morning routine so that you can get yourself and your children out of the door to start your day, whilst looking presentable to the world!

I have a simple make up routine that I apply everyday that works very well for me, here are the products that I use:

  • Eyebrows – Rimmel eyebrow pencil 004 Black Brown
  • Face powder – Mac Studio Fix Powder NC45
  • Bronzer – Mac A95 Dark deepest
  • Highlighter – MUA Undress your skin shimmer highlighter
  • Blusher – Mac Ambering Rose
  • Lash primer – L’Oréal Paradise Primer Extatic
  • Mascara – Maybelline lash sensational
  • Lipstick – varies from Mac lipsticks to Poundland lipsticks usually a red, pink or brown colour

My everyday make up routine normally takes me less than 10 minutes to apply!

Party Time at Gambado’s

On Saturday we started off this month with a party!! 🎉🎂🎉🎂


It was Leshays 8th birthday last week and it will be Jarays 6th birthday next week (it was also my birthday last week too, just 2 days before Leshays) and so I decided to throw the kids a joint birthday party at Gambados in Beckenham, London and we had THE BEST time!!

I hadn’t actually been to Gambados before but I had heard about it plus both Leshay and Jaray had attended parties there which they both really enjoyed and so I was more than happy to book their party there!


Once I arrived I think I became more excited than the kids did and soon found myself up in the climbing area, sliding down the slides and driving around in the bumper cars!!


If any of you follow my snapchat: LayonieJae then you would have seen (and heard) just how excited I was – although to be fair it was my birthday last week too so it kind of was my party too.. I honestly thought that I would have been sat around with the parents having a coffee and a chat but I literally spent most of my time running around having fun with the kids!!

Before we left they gave us free entry tickets to use before the end of this month so I am planning to take Leshay and Jaray back next weekend!!😃🎉
